Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for Accounts Payable and Payroll. This is a highly confidential position. Must be very discrete, have a positive/can do attitude and be willing to learn.

The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for monitoring and paying the various payables of the company, and customer contacts regarding payables. They will be responsible for all payroll transactions including; paychecks, payroll receivables, payroll payables, and payroll taxes (quarterly and year end reporting). They will assist with shared duties of the accounting team.

Overview – Accounts Payable
• Inputting of vendor invoices
• Order invoice copies as needed.
• Communicate posting needs to Receiving in Parts Department.
• AP checks on statements as due, taking discounts as are available.
• AP checks on non-statement invoices as due, taking discounts as are available.
• Reconcile and replenish Petty Cash on a weekly basis.

Overview – Payroll
• New employees; set up file with required forms and new employee orientation.
• New employee safety orientation.
• Maintain copies of forms and manuals
• Process payroll on a semi-monthly basis
• Record all timecard/employees’ time on a daily basis.
• Record tax liabilities and payments on tax spreadsheet.
• Pay miscellaneous payroll payables; garnishments, savings, etc.
• Deduct employee charges from payroll checks.
• Record employee payroll deductions as credits in their AR accounts.
• Yearly W-2 and 1099 processing.

Miscellaneous Shared Duties
• Monitor and record use of cardlock gas card(s)
• Disperse petty cash and change as needed; count and sign for cash drops from Service and Parts Departments as needed.
• Assist F&I with large cash counts as needed
• Maintain filing; paid bills, invoices, completed RO’s, completed deals, unit invoices.
• Help with various reconciliation’s

Front Desk Receptionist

We are looking for a front office receptionist for our busy dealership. This is a permanent full time position. Must be detail oriented, professional, multi-tasker, and have exceptional customer service skills.

This Position will responsible for:

Answer phones/Routing calls/Taking messages
Greeting Customers
Oregon Marine Board boat titling and registration
Other duties as assigned


High School Diploma or Equivalent
Charismatic, Friendly, and enjoys helping others
Be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and subsequent random screenings
Be willing to work 40+ hours and occasional weekends during the peak of the season
Be teachable, reliable, hard working
